About Me

Hello and welcome to my webpage!

I am a third-year PhD scholar in the Decision Sciences area at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), working under the supervision of Prof. Soudeep Deb. My doctoral research sits at the intersection of statistics, machine learning with applications to environmental problems. I am broadly interested in developing rigorous statistical frameworks that can address real-world, socially impactful problems.

Before joining IIMB, I completed my M.Sc. in Statistics from Christ University, Bangalore, and my B.Sc. in Statistics, Mathematics, and Economics from St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangalore. During my master’s, I also interned as a statistical analyst at Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences and as a Business Analysis at Blooprint E-commerce Consultany.

Beyond research, I have a strong interest in teaching and have enjoyed mentoring and talking to students about various aspects. Outside academia, I write about food, travel and general lifestyle and you can find those musings on my hobby site and cooking diaries.
